i understand that some files are not editable- but are for viewing only..thats fine, all i want to do is burn the movie, not edit it. BUT when I search for the movie in the folder, the movie has a red circle with a line through it. I see that it say no media files, try changing the media filter using the media filter button, I can't find that either??
I'm using a brand new hp with vista, this is my first time ever using Roxio, any help would be appreciated.

It may still be protected content and you would not be able to edit it nor would you be able to copy it. Sorry.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Is it a Divx movie?The circle with the line could mean you don't have the Divx codecs on your machine.
If that's so go online and download and install the codecs and you'll be ok.

You may also have a problem with where the divx files are installed and if downloading the proper codec does not help you might want to read this post.
