Hi all
When I make up a DVD collection of home movies in EMC9 and try to burn them to DVD it crashes at 97% everytime with the error in the event log of Faulting application videowave9.exe, version 9.1.1.23, faulting module dvdvideomanager.dll, version 9.1.1.13, fault address 0x00010618. It then sends a dump off to Microsoft. Anyone seen this and fixed this one?
Thanks

List your system specs (like mine at the bottom of my signature) and also exactly what you are doing, step by step.
With more information you might get further responses from other members.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have however noticed a way on which the problem seems to go away. The crash only happens if I burn DVD's in one users account on the PC but if I burn them in another on the same machine it all works. So my conclusion is that the install is putting settings into the user profiles of the installed account rather than any account on the machine. The issue consistently happens when it gets to the stage of creating the menu's for the DVD. Hopefully this will be enough of a lead for the developers of the app to look into the component registration. Hence I haven't added my machine spec's as they look not to be the cause here. Thanks

In general, EMC needs to be installed and run with administrator privileges but the '90+%' problem is generally down to the graphics drivers. You didn't say what yours are, but have you tried updating them from the maker's website? By 'maker' I mean nVidia, AMD, etc and not the computer maker who is probably a few versions behind
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
