I am trying to use slideshow assistant (EMC-8) to make slide show with beck ground sound. I attached 30 photos and 1 track sound mp3 I got confirmation that photo and sound is attached. But when I preview the slide show, the sound is OK but no picture, just a black screen.

Open VideoWave, and create your production. Forget about the Assistant.

I have tried with VideoWave, I can see the pictures on the Storyline, but on the preview screen is still black.
I went to tools tab>options and to “Render Using”: Hardware or software. I changed the settings with no avail.

Hope you resolved this issue before now but. . .
Try adjusting your screen settings to 16bit color instead of 32bit.
Also change from hardware render to software. Worked for me.

Sparky2 mentioned in his last post that he did change rendering already.
