Can anyone help. When I try to open up My DVD I get this message (The following Codecs must be activated before using the aplication Mpeg-2 click to activate) I click ok to activate I then get the message (no permission- bad installation) the programe then shuts down. I have tried reloading the complete programe but My DVD still will not work.

Thanks

Depending on your OS, you'll need to do a clean install before reinstalling.
XP Clean Install Instructions

Vista Clean Install Instructions

Another good idea is to shut down your internet security and Firewall software when trying to activate mpeg.

Just so you know, there's nothing stopping you from having both 9 & 10 installed on the same system.  I have both versions running together in both XP and Vista with conflicts between the 2.

I think you meant to say "without" conflicts, didn't you Paul? biggrin.gif
