My goal is to remove commercials from kids TV shows for use in the minivan. Have Tivo and I have transferred them onto the computer. Bought MyDVD 9 as the box says it will do what I want it to. I was able to easily edit out the commercials, save my project (and validate), and preview everything well. The problem occurs when I ask it to burn. I do get a burn project screen with a black square and progress at 0%. My windows task manager shows that it is still running and CPU usage shows that something is happening, however my progress doesn't move past 0%. I have tried unedited short shows, edited shows and I have tried to both burn to disk and burn to Image. I can see that a ISO file has been created on my computer- but that is all. MyDVD stops running when I cancel the burn project screen. I did do a reinstall and I tried to work on the 80% list that is posted- however my Dell Lat D620 is only a few months old so I doubt my drivers are that out of date. I can not get through to email tech support as I only get an error screen. Is Roxio about to go bankrupt that it can't have customer support? I am just a computer user who isn't geek enough to figure this out. Thank you for any assistance as I only have a few more days until I have to return this and find something that does work.

A lot of the time this can be solved by simply updating the Video drivers for your video card.Try that.

Thanks, it took hours to figure out how to do that, but it looks like it works. It is slow, but it works.
Thank you very much!!!!

There are a few factors that decide how fast the burn goes but you can expect it to take a resonable amount of time.Glad you're up and burning now.
I see where you mention both burning and saving to an ISO.Make sure you're not doing both at once. Not saying you're doing this but just in case.
