Got 400+ photos all lined up with several music files. Hit burn with huge sigh of relief only to be told - DVD/CD drive busy or occupied, try later. Absolutely nuttin was going on with the DVD drive, did OK with playback of some stuff just to check it out. So I decided to do repair off Control Panel/Install-delete programs. REPAIR asks for Program CD to do some of the repair that I'd requested. No matter which of the two Install CDs I used or which file I identified, (StartHere, Autoplay, Autoplay_CCD - I was told it was invalid. Finally I decided just to reinstall, it extracted files etc - then told me there was already MYDVD program on my HD and to use Control Panel>Add/Delete programs to repair it. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, full circle. All I want to do is burn the production I've spent hours & hours on. Lordy I hope theres and easy answer. I'm only 81 but this nearly flipped me out. Dan

First, disable Drag to Disc, via msconfig, and see if that works.  If it doesn't, do what James said to do in his post.

Hey dan, my name is Scott. I had the same problem as you. Come to fine out that I had just a cd burner and not a dvd burner. As soon as I purchased a new burner and installed the program worked great. If you do have a dvd burner check into your video card to see if it is compatiable. i'm running a ge-force 6200 on a dell dimension 4600 but have all the upgrades for everything (or as much as my antique computer will do, imagine that my computer is only 3 years old and already an antique) good luck!  scott  bonita@bigsky.net biggrin.gif
