Capture Video w/ Hard Drive Camers

I have a Panasonic Palmcorder SDR-18 (hard drive) and am having the exact same problem that I'm stuck with.  Any help is appreciated.

You should be able to just connect to your computer with the USB plug, and Windows should see it as a drive.  Then, just copy the files to a folder on your hard drive.

Was there nothing in your owners manual telling you how to get the movies to your computer?
