Hello,

If you use the menu item to check for updates in this software, you will probably get an error message saying

QUOTE
"The software manager does not recognize this product. Error 13003: version not registered with the flexnet connect"

Here is why you get that error:

When you click on "check for updates" in Roxio/Sonic software, the update manager takes you to the Flexnet Connect updates service. This is an outsourced updates management service that Roxio uses. When your software sends its ID and version # to Flexnet Connect, the service sends back any updates.

Since there are no updates for this software [and it seems there never will be], Roxio has not registered the software with Flexnet Connect, so rather than a nice "No updates for you" message, you get that error message.

So don't worry about the error message, but please don't bother looking for updates, either.

Regards,
Brendon
