sad.gif I am getting down to the wire here.  I am trying to add 2 songs that I have downloaded as MP3 files from Blubster to add to a slide show.  I have scanned in 186 pictures for my father in law for Christmas and I cant get the music to add to the slide show.  It keeps telling me that my files are corrupt or not supported.  HELP!!  I was able to download 1 song but I had the mfg cd that I had purchased a while back before I even knew what blubster.com was.  That has added just fine but it is the other 2 that are giving me problems.  Do I have to buy the other 2 cd's to get just the 2 songs I need? I'm not very computer literate but I didn't know what else to do...Thanks for your help in advance.

I've not heard of Blubster but if it is an online store, the files are DRM protected and cannot be used. Read your agreement with that site.

EDIT - I see that Blubster is an online sharing site using mp3 and/or ogg files.  Which is the format for the files you downloaded?   You may want to try, after chacking your computer for malware and viruses, is to put the music into Sound Editor and export them to a wav file format.  That may solve your problem.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

unsure.gif   How do you tell if the song from iTunes is 'protected'? I've used 4 songs in a production that worked well, but then tried other songs that were indicated to be protected. Also, is there a way to change m4a format to one that will work with Roxio??  PS.....I've learned a lot from this site thus  smile.gif far, thanks to all!

m4a is a proprietary Apple format - you can burn those to a CD using iTunes is about all)

As for 'blubster' - we can't give any advice on using illegally obtained audio (or this site would be over-run with a battalion of lawyers waving cease and desist orders)

While I don't particularly agree with the law on DRM, unfortunately it is the law
