I seem to be having problems with the automatic SRC built into Jam 6, i.e. serious digital distortion on the cd, and in preview playback. I have a hunch it may be a problem with a recent quicktime update, but i'm not sure. Has anyone else been having this problem? Any suggestions?

This is a bug with QT 7.3. You would need to use QT 7.2, or update to Toast 8.0.3

Toast 8.03 makes the problem less audible, but there are still artifacts there. Kinda sound like sparkles on certain transient material. You might have to break out headphones to hear it.
Have been discussing it here also:

The only option is to use QT 7.2 or earlier (which I think means reinstalling OS 10.4 if you're already on QT 7.3+) with either Toast 7.x or 8.0/8.01. Regardless of QT version, Toast 8.03 with 48kHz files is still not fixed.
