Whenever i preview my videos in Video Wave there is this huge crackling noise that goes through the whole thing. You can barely hear what people are saying. It has become a problem because i want to add background music to my Vid clips and make it follow the music. The sound is fine in adjust duration though and when rendered it is fine too.

Does anyone have any suggestions?? or does anyone have my same problem??

This has happened to some folks who have a onboard sound card.  Reducing the hardware acceleration in dxdiag, then updating the sound card drivers has helped most.  You can then go back to dxdiag and put the acceleration back to full.

Perhaps this will help. Get to it by going to Windows/Start run/ type in that word.   Also you are looking for the new drivers for your sound chips.  Has nothing to do with bios at this time.  Did you build it yourself or is it a "Name Model".  If you give us a little more information, perhaps we can help find them for you.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I would suggest that you ask one of your computer geek friends to help you out.  After you do the updates to your BIOS, etc., the first time, it becomes second nature.
