I've been using Ceator 8 for years to create DVD's from camera video clips using Video Wave & My DVD Express. Recently the process aborts and dispalys "8007000e - Error While Encoding Menu". The Overall Progress & Current Task were completed at 100%, however, nothing is written to the disk. I've uinstalled and reloaded Creator 8 and it's update I created a new project and burned it to a DVD and it worked fine, but when I tried again the same problem occurred.
I've given up on the suggestions provided by Roxio as they caused more problems.
Any suggestions?
Also, wondering if Creator 10 may have program enhancements that would eliminte this problem?
Thanks.

The "problem" seems to be in the file… Try recreating the project and see what happens.

That is a problem with your video drivers. Update them, and try again.

Hi and thanks for the response. I've tried this but didn't follow through and try it as Roxio support provided so many fixes that they locked up my PC and I had to format it and start all over.
Is this a problem that you had and did the video driver update correct it?
My card is a ATI Radeon and the update includes all kinds of game junk that I don't want to download.
I've been using Creator 8 with the same card and original driver without any problem for the past few years until now which makes wonder why the video card is an issue?
Also, after I formatted and reloded Creator 8 it worked fine on the first attempt, but failed thereafter.
I really like the program as I've created some great videos of the grandkids over the years.
Thanks again for your help.

If you scrioll down the ATI page to 'Option 2' it's for Display Driver only. It may offer to install a game - but you can say 'no' and it won't do it
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Thank you, I tried this and it worked!!!!
Guess I wasn't paying attention on the first go around.
I really like Creator 8 and I'm happy that I can use it again.
Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year
