I have an editing question listed in media creater 10 discussion. I need to get pics to insurance adjuster! I'm sorry, to be specifis the full question I am asking is in the media creator discussion post section. My name is Gunnar and I appreciate whatever help you can provide me with. I probably should have posted the original question here as I think this is the more active of the forums. There has been a total loss fire. Family members have videos which I have transfered to dvd. I have Roxio 9 and am using the time line to edit out irrelavant material. First: Is ther a way I can preview edit changes in the video image in the timeline? I set markers on the timeline the click the first, press control, click the second and then click on minus. How can I see the result? I am also having a problem with the entire video freezing and a " not responding message". This seems to occur if I move the video to fast to set markers.

A better idea would be to capture still images of the video using the little camera icon just below the preview window. You can do the same thing in My Media. Navigate to the file, right click on it and chose extract image . Expand the window that opens for best results.
Sorry for the loss of your posessions, I hope no one was hurt.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I just emailed tech support, I don't know how long they take to respond. I would like to get video image if I can. It is comprehensive. The fire was March 18, at the home of my wifes ex. He died in the fire. To date , State Farm hasn't paid anything for the loss. He had to sons 16 and 14. This video may be used in a lawsuit if this mess isn't sorted out soon. The case just went before an arbitrator and he requested more proof of contents. This forum probably won't allow me to express my feelings toward State Farm, the co. that was made famous after Katrina hit New Orleans.
