I use Roxio DVDiT Pro HD v. 6.3.
I want Write Disc Image (22 GB film) and my Roxio:
- Transcoding Video, Importing Video, correct,
- Transcoding Audio, Importing Audio, correct
and stops during Write to .iso file.
I receive information that:
"The disc burning process was interrupted, either because of
an error or because it was cancelled.
To avoid losing ...."
If I try same operation only with short clip (4 GB) everything is OK.
Can you anyone suggest anything?
My computer: HP XW 8400, 4 GB RAM, 2x400 GB RAID, 2x500 GB RAID, 1x1 TB SATA.

Hi,
Thanks for your interest.
My project is HD and I imported it from Avid Liquid 7.2 - I tried exported as MPEG2 and also by Fuse.
And effect is always same.
Is interesting that I tried coded my film in Sorensen 4.5.7, also. And effect is also same.
On the beggining of writing into .iso file my Roxio stop working.

sorry, I try again and again, to get a quick answer....
My PRO HD doen´t do anything after rendering this and that: no BURN, no IMAGE, no MASTER... nothing at all....
Just bought it and I am very unhappy, because my work cannot wait....
Has this to do with the 4GB-thing ? (All my drives > total more than 4 TB > are NTFS....)
Urgent help needed !!

I don't know if this is any help but I recently completed 14 blu-ray disc projects - all discs had 2-4 titles with motion menus and animated chapter thumbnails and I made it a practice to write to Volume (the discs were between 17-22 GB)- had virtually no errors until disc 8 or so and started getting the "disc burning process interrupted..." message - I tried a second time and it went through - got the same error message on the next project - checked my video drives (have 2 - 3TB drives - RAID 0 - and they were 80 % full and many of the .m2v files were fragmented so I deleted a lot of old files to where the drives were 30-40% full and had no more error messages (except on the last disc) - I checked the video files on the last project after 3 aborted attempts to burn to volume and found a motion menu background ( 120 MB) had 392 fragments - copied the file onto the second video drive (checked - no fragmention) and placed it into my project and wrote to volume with no problems.
I am wondering if some of the problems that people have been having with this particular error message are related to slow drives (> 80 % full) or fragmented files - I have noticed that the error message usually comes at the sequence in the writing process where it states "adding assets to DB".

Similar can be said for ECC RAM, reliable mobo chipsets & good power supplies.
It's not really fair that software companies have to deal with so many problems because their users are using cheap components or don't keep a healthy Windows system in order.
This is why Mac's have a better reputation in post production using Mac Pro's, there are no "do it yourself" untested, incompatible, configurations like cheap PC makers. AT least planetweckesser is a smart man capable of trouble shooting, too many just spit the dummy and blame the software vendor.
Love me or hate me, that's my opinion.
