Newcomer here.
Have just moved to Creator 9 from 7.5 and have noticed that this version does not seem to have the Drag-To-Disc feature.
Have I missed it in my search through the features or did they not include it?
It made life so much simpler having always on top.

When running the initial installation it is included automatically. The only way to get rid of it is to use Add/Remove from the control panel.

It is NOT included in EMC 10 (which is why I ask)

If you don't want it, you get it anyway and have to uninstall it separately.
Its' actual name is "DrgToDsc.exe"…

Sorry, but you are wrong.
You are right in that all the files .msi and .exe are there, but they are not being loaded during Setup!
If you click the exe file then installer starts and then a message "Please run setup".
Do that and check Modify and Drag to Disc is NOT listed.
Run Repair and it is still not loaded.
Uninstall and run Setup again, still no Drag to Disc.

Then you do not have the Retail version of EMC 9 or the 'Red Box' version as both of these have D2D…
Cannot speak to the OEM versions as none of us have any listing as to what comes with them.

Since you had an earlier version on your computer, perhaps the new one won't install over the old one? Did you have any other packet writing software on your hard drive?
Look in Windows Installer Clean Up utility program and see if it is listed there. It should be listed with a version paren after it. Perhaps the old copy didn't completely uninstall so now the install of the new version can't proceed. Uninstall it (both if you have more than one) and then try to reinstall it.
I assume that you are both running XP and not Vista. Vista has its own packet writing application.
