When I create a DVD using the menus, the buttons/or small squares show up in the main selection window, but when I click on the menu thre are no little squares or buttons on the menu selected. Come "burn" time I then get a message about "unlinked" items. So chose OK to burn instead...and I do...and the DVD works by clicking on the printed titles.
So where are the buttons and/or how do I get them and make them function????

Did you 'add' a video? There will no button until you add a video or use the unlinked button feature (which apparently you did). Depending on the template you chose, the 'button' will be just TEXT or it may be a 'thumbnail' image of the video or both.Download the manual PDF and read through it. The unlinked button feature is a more advanced feature. Perhaps you should refrain from using that until you have read the manual.

Yes I have added videos and edited them with the snipper and burned them. I think I mentioned that the CD worked. Thank you for your response I will drill down into the depth of this lovely progam and double-check the "unlinked button" feature"
