If I burn files in a folder I should expect to be able to reburn the whol folder and only NEW OR CHANGED files should be burned.

NOT A duplicate burn of same unchanged file. RIGHT?? blink.gif

How do I get the software to do this?

I hope this is what you are trying to accomplish---

You're right. Open up Creator classic, grab some files from a particular folder and burn them. Then using the same "Creator Classic" program place that previously burned disc in your drive and the program will recogniize the previously burned files. Then add some additional new or changed files from that same folder or any other folder and then when you burn that same disc again it will only burn the new or changed files.

HOWEVER and NOTE this: When you burn the first disc, be sure and DO NOT place a mark in the box that shows "READ ONLY DISC" (See Attached).

FYI: It is not a matter of "software" but rather your lack of understanding concerning Optical media.

You are used to working with magnetic media and this is optical media. The only similarities between the 2 is that both are Round!

What Frank showed you is correct but there is a price for doing it. Some quality time should be spent in the Help files.
