i have a new JVC hard drive video camera and it outputs "MOD" video files... it coes with software but i'd rather use my EMC9 to make videos...  sad.gif  EMC9 doesn't seem to reconize these? is there a way that it can import these files? thanks.

Anyway of getting me a shortened version of the mod file - a couple of seconds (containing audio) would be enough?

I will try to play with it by using VideoWave to output it to a AVI file and then trying Sound Soap to see if it will see/fix the audio or will try a program that has been successful for me in getting the audio correct with Quicktime (mov) files.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I have one of these JVC Harddrive recorders too.... the only software that I can find that will read the "MOD" format is Cyberlink.
