wacko.gif Please help me out with this.  I am VERY new to trying to copy DVDs, but it seems simple enough.  I read on here with another lady having issues with a Dell computer that came loaded with Roxio software and it did not seem she got a solution......so i am hopeful I will get an answer.

The message I recieve is: There was a problem trying to read the disc you are trying to copy.  Please make sure the disc is free of fingerprints, scrathces, or dust and try again.

The Roxio is Roxio Creator Premier and is version 9.0..............

The disc is clean, and in fact is new.  It is a TV series so it is large....over 6gb...the disc I have to copy it onto is DVD+R Double Layer 8.5 GB... There is enough room, but i can't get that far again.  I got it to copy onto the hard drive then it started telling me something about making sure I had enough room on the hard drive...it is 320GB hard drive......then it started with this error.

Any help???  unsure.gif  Please........ thank you!!

I think the problem might be that Roxio will not copy commercial, copy protected dvd's.

Yes, a common protection is to write "unreadable sectors". Windows thinks they're dirty.
