Never Been able to Back-up

i have EC9 and am very pleased with it for my audio needs but i've tried doing various backups and they ALL seem to run fine until about 90% complete then i get error message.  i'm wasting a lot of dvd's.  also the photo media isn't uploading at all, it boots me out of EC9 completely.  can anyone help? cool.gif

Can yopu post us your computer specs (similar to my sig) and especially the graphics system
