linux (ubuntu)?

i have videowave versions 2,3,4,5,6,7,and 8.  i recently blew off windows for ubuntu. will any videowave products work with 'wine' for linux?

I've gotten a few programs to work in Ubuntu with Wine but haven't tried any EMC product yet nor have I read or seen whether it will work.  I'm doubtful but a good place to start asking might be the Ubuntu forums.

The only thing I ever did get to work (using VMWare) was ECD 6

The later versions won't work due to DirectX and video driver problems (at least they never did for me)
