Per the instructions in this forum, I downloaded Popcorn 3.0.2b7. It worked great for a couple weeks, but now it will not start. Now, when I start up Popcorn, I get this message:
"Sorry, this pre-release version has expired. Please contact Roxio for a release
version or a new beta."
I am so frustrated. I have gone back and forth with this company. First they don't release a Leopard patch ahead of the Leopard release. Then the patch EXPIRES? WTF? Why should it EVER expire? Roxio has been closed all week. Nobody is answering support tickets. I have a project due and two days to do it and no one has gotten back to me! I am seriously considering charging back my credit card to get my money back.

Roxio released that beta version of 3.0.2 early so people didn't have to wait for the final release. The final release of 3.0.2 was on November 13 and is available at Roxio's download site Here.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

I am getting this error too, even though Popcorn is at 3.0.2. FWIW it works if you launch Popcorn before launching TivoToGo, weird!
TivoToGo has been a complete ripoff. Took a year to get all channels, because CableCard doesn't get Digital Switched Video (TimeWarner finally released a USB tuner), have to pay Roxio for extra software, Roxio now wants me to upgrade to their new version of Toast or Popcorn or whatever, and this setup is slow, clunky and flaky, e.g. this bogus "pre-release" error.
MythTV or thepiratebay.org is looking better all the time...
