why does it take two hours or more to convert avi file to dvd,i am saving to file,it takes about two an one half hr to do a hour and half movie..... i am using media 10,my older version was lots faster,and simple
using drag to disk,do i some setting wrong.thanks for any help

If you're trying to make a dvd that will play on any standard player, the files have to be converted to a dvd compliant file.  Some files are highly compressed such as divx and xvid files so they take a while.  
You can't make a dvd compliant disc using any drag to drop method that I know of.
