I am tried to capture video from my camcorder using a usb capture device. It didn't work so well with roxio. I googled the problem, but it didn't help.

I then found this, after many hours of searching.

Would this cable do the trick?

Thanks

If your have a DV tape camcorder then USB does not work with EMC and you have to use Firewire ((as stated in requirements I think)

Just make sure you get a good quality cable ($1.95 does not sound good quality) and you have the proper connectiors on your PC (or card) and your camera.

By the way, I finally found out what this cable was called, a 4 pin to 4 pin firewire cable. *sighs*

Yes, Belkins are a good product. Just make sure you get a cable with the correct connectors. There are also 4 to 6 pin cables, you will have to see what your devices need.
