please help me with this issue. I am trying to download music from a cassette player to my pc and then burn onto a cd. I have been to radio shack and bought 2 different cords to plug in and neither works.

i have windows vista, roxio creator DE, my pc is a dell 531 inspiron. all of these programs came with the pc. I am not familiar with computers so i would appreciate all the help i can get.

All you need is a 3.5 mm stereo jack lead and feed the output of the cassette player to line in on the sound card

Also if you look at the LP and Tape Assistant it has pictures on how to hook things up (thats assuming  your OEM version has that included with your Dell).
