When I select film to trim, when I start it up in the trim window, the visual turns to blurry lines across the viewing panel and I can't tell where I am. What is causing this to happen, or more importantly, how do I fix it?

Usually a video card/chip issue but since you have not taken the time to put your computer specs in your signature (My Controls> Edit Signature) it would just be a guess. Does the same thing happen when you simply cut (trim) in the timeline view of VideoWave ?

Update your video card/chip drivers and DirectX 9c. Does this happen with all your videos? What format are they? Where did you get them?
