Ok,
I am obviously a novice - I admit. But I made a DVD last year compiling all pix of my kids and put them to music I downloaded from Kazaa - no problem. This year, I bought more songs on iTunes. But I can't capture any of those. I currently have EMC 7 but WILL upgrade if this will help...
Thanks all you gurus out there!

Digital Rights Management: DRM under iTunes will allow you to burn to a CD a limited number of times.
From that CD you will be able to import and use the songs as you desire.
Don't know of any program that understands the specific permissions of DRM for downloaded files other than the special program that allows the download.
You pain is the resulting price of others piracy.
