somewhere on this discussion forum there is a mention of divx codec. Is this problem related to codes? I don't need to activate roxio, its already activated.

i got new HP laptop and digital Sony mini-dvd camcoder. i can download mpeg files on my hp vista laptop and watch vidoes using windows media player. But when i try to add video to MyDVD 9 Roxio project, it complains that the file you are trying to use cannot be edited, and has not been added. this happens to all mpeg files i download from my camcoder. Please help.
