Hi All,
I'm hoping someone can help me. I purchased photosuite 8 the other day (not part of a package). I've created my slideshow, but when I click on burn to DVD, a new window opens with "Please wait, loading componant" and then nothing happens.
My understanding is that I should be able to burn my slideshow to dvd without any additional purchases. Am I correct in thinking this?
Thanks,
Bussy.

Does the same thing happen when you select to burn to a CD?
Tell us about your DVD burner. Have you updated the firmware for it?
Tell us about your computer; especially the video card/chip. Have you updated the drivers for it?
When you installed the program, did you install to a malware free defragged hard drive with you anti-virus turned off?
(Just in case, did you look at the bottom of your screen to make sure that the component did load and minimize?)
Go into windows control panel add or remove software and do a repair of the program. Have your disc handy. In extreme cases, you may have to remove the software and reinstall it. In the case of "everything else fails" you may have to do a clean install of the program. I doubt if you have to go that far.

I am not sure about the stand alone version of Photosuite 8, but in the stand alone version of Photosuite 7, you could only burn data to a DVD, not a video production.

Hi sknis and grandpa bruce.
Thanks for your help. I suspect it's something to do with my computer (perhaps motherboard going out?) as it worked no worries on laptop. Not sure what though because Nero burns no worries.
Cheers,
Bussy
