i use easy audio capture to record music off the internet.

I am curious about how to do this. I opened my Easy Audio Capture and it has Capture From: My choice is Sigma TelAudio and Modem#0 Line record. I chose Sigma TelAudio. Under input it has: Line In, Microphone, Rear Mic. Do I just not have the equipment to do this? Thanks.

Some onboard audio systems aren't able to fully use the features of Audio Capture. What you want to look for is the 'What U Hear' option to capture things like internet radio. Sometimes updating your audio will help but usually it's the fact that it's not a dedicated sound card being used. If this is something you really want to do much of, look into an inexpensive sound card.
Another option you might want to look into is Freecoder. It is free and I've not tried it but have a friend who uses it on his laptop with some success.

Thanks Beerman. I did not really have any specific plans to do anything. I am just always trying to learn the in's and out's of the Roxio product. I appreciate your help.

If youtr soundcard does not have facility to record 'what you hear' (that's Creative's name for it, other manufacturers use other terms), you might try free RealPlayer 11. That has a feature to download/record unprotected streams (video or Audio).
