Yesterday I got and installed my Panasonic LF-PB271DJ 4x Blu-Ray burner.
I had already prepared a small .iso image in DVDitProHD.
Only 1 menu with 3 buttons.
But I also included chapter points and even a subtitle track.
Burned the Blu-Ray disc with Nero8
Popped it into my PS3 (2.10)
It played beautifully!
Except for the fact that the subtitles seemed to be left justified.
I had set them as centred.
Does anyone know of this problem?
Is it me? or is it DVDitPro?
Regards,
Douglas

I realise that of all the people using DVDitPro - not everyone is outputting to Blu-Ray yet.
Of those who are outputting to Blu-Ray - very few are probably adding subtitles.
Therefore the reason nobody has any suggestions to fix my problem.
To make it easier to understand the problem, I have uploaded a picture of a simulation screen from DVDitPro and another from a picture of the final Blu-Ray output on a HiDef TV.
Does that help anyone to get a better grasp of the problem?
I hope so.

It must be something you are doing
(at least subtitles work "correctly" for me)
A couple of questions:
Did you position the subtitles?
Is the text in the subtitle "center justified"?
Are there a bunch of "spaces" in the text?
as an experiment
build 3 subtitles back to back
have one left justified
one center
one right justified

Yeah, sorry I dont really do subtitles so I can't help.
Thanks Tom,
I tried all of those things plus a few more like resizing the subtitle text box to stretch across the final output size....
Everything gave different results, but none of them were correct.
I also tried TV screen settings on my TV.... no luck
Output as a DVD things come out fine.
But as soon as it is for Blu-Ray there are problems with the justification.
Thanks for the suggestions...... any more?
By the way, I checked that my subtitles were set for Widescreen.......
Maybe I will try setting Fullscreen and see if they justify better?????
