I have Back On Track Home Edition v2.7.20 purchased about 8 months ago. I tried to run the update check recently for the first time. Each time is comes back with the message "An error occurred during search for updates - Access denied."

I queried the problem with Roxio if it was a technical problem or possibly because there is now a new version 3 which I can't update to.
Their suggestion is to run msconfig to prevent all start up programs operating and try again but makes no difference. No answer as to v3 update.

Anybody else had a similar problem or solution?
