Hi gang,
First post here and I hope its not a silly one - but I just can't seem to locate the control.
I added a audio track while working in Videowave. I don't recall the excate phrase - but it was the first choice and would play across all the panels.
then my video grew, I couldn't find the remove old audio track one control - so I tired to add a new one to see if it would replace the old one. LOL - nope now I had two.
The only thing I can figure out is to move the file being referenced to a different location - so the program can't find it. (pop-up verifies this)
LOL, now I can't seem to add a new one.
I feel like I'm chasing my tail.
suggestions or advice
thanks
JW

Select the audio track in the timeline view and the 'X" to delete it. Are you now saying that you did that and the audio is still there? Clear the proxy files by going to the top menu select tools, options and then clear.
After that, are you saying that you can't add a different audio file (in the same track or any other audio track)? The issue may be audio file. If it a DRM protected file from a download site or if it is not a standard mp3 file the program will have problems adding it. Search for how to add DRM protected music. if it is non protected mp3, put it in Sound Editor and export it as a wav file. It should work then.
If you are having trouble seeing the image, note the see full image text below and clcik on it. A new window will open and you'll get the full image. Close that window to return to this page.

Wow... thank you so very much.
I must of walked away and came back to this over a dozen times.
never even saw the speaker icon
then to select and go to a different window to delete - stilll seems a bit odd and not very intuitive
but hey, hey, hey - those silly files are gone now and I learned about proxy
thanks again,
JW
