I am really at my wits end trying to debug this error. I have tried many, many suggestions. In Windows Media Center, If I try to burn recorded TV to DVD, I get the Unsupported Filetype error message. When I create soniclog_mce.log I see the following error: Got errorAssetAdding_CantDecodeVideo exception. I have the April 2006 Rollup. I have uninstalled and re-installed all my sonic products, I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the sonic encoders. I have updated my registry. These are all various suggestions I have found on various forums. I really need some help or suggestions.

This used to work fine. This is how I got to this point. When I would burn recorded TV to DVD I started getting an error, where it would get to 30% complete then fail with a memory allocation error in the log. I saw a suggestion where it said to uninstall all sonic software and re-install, which I did. Once I did that tho, I started to get the Unsupported filetype error. When I look at the log, I see the Got errorAssetAdding_CantDecodeVideo exception error. Can anyone give me an idea on what to do or try?

Thanks a bunch!

OK. I am making progress. I uninstalled and re-installed my version of CinePlayer and now i DO NOT get the Unsupported Filetype erroe. The burn failed at 1% tho. I want to look into that for a bit and I will post what I find here. Might just need a re-boot.
