The site has been down for the past few hours at least that I know of.It just recently came back.
As far as how long this is going to go on,you're guess is as good as anyones.

There was another problem this morning that gave many of us the fatal error and that's been fixed.  I think the problem now is some lagging that was happening before the move to a new server.  What and why it is, I don't know.  I do know they are still looking into it.

If you're asking about the quote, it comes from one of the main characters in a UK short run tv show, called Life on Mars which is also do to be remade in the states. "The central character is DCI Sam Tyler of Greater Manchester Police (played by John Simm), who, after being hit by a car in 2006, finds himself in the year 1973. There, he works for Manchester and Salford Police CID as a DI under DCI Gene Hunt (played by Philip Glenister)."
The quote is from DCI Gene Hunt who is a bit rough.  Here are some other quotes from the show that might give you a better idea who he is (but not at all what the show was about).

I don't often sit at the computer LMAO but they were funny.  I'll have to see if I can get the reruns of that show.

Steve, it was a UK show that is only 2 seasons long, 8 episodes to a season.  Might be hard to find in the states.  There is another similar one coming out soon (Feb.) called Ashes to Ashes that will have some of the same characters but instead of it taking place in 1973, it will take place in the early 80's. It took a bit of time to get into it and the characters but was a very good show IMO.

That's rather strange. You must be in the same forum as us because you're posting here, but since the forums have been hit by the daily avalanche of molasses, it seems to be you who have the 'hasty and uninformed" conclusions.

You shouldn't be so quick to criticize and abuse the posters, Lyn. You don't learn, do you.
