Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 And 8 No longer recognize my burner

I have numerous DVD creation software programs. Roxio has all of a sudden stopped recognizing my burner. I just wanted to copy a homemade DVD so I could give a copy to a family member. I no longer have the original file, so I thought I would use Roxio to burn a copy of my copy.
I have no idea why, but it no longer recognizes my burner.
Any help anyone can give?
Also, in updates, I can't remember if I downloaded or bought the boxed software, and would be hard put now to find them. Guess I will have to look. I wish Roxio kept that info in MyRoxio.
Thanks!

Nope, no joy.
Still doesn't recognize my burner. Says no device selected. Every other program I have recognizes it, and Roxio used to.
Any other ideas?

You can bet I will never buy a product from this company again. I went back to my old 7.5 and things
are now ok. Stop making this new and improved junk
