Has there been any updates in the months I've been away?

Never managed to get a single working BDMV from the software and gave up on it and moved onto Encore CS3 & now I'm on Nero 8.2 with Blu-ray/HD-DVD add on and I can't believe how much better it is for importing, exporting and transcoding. I know that it's newer, but since Roxio has been out longer, what updates are available to bring it into line with the other products out there?
Is it worth me installing it again or is it still as unusable as it was before?

No updates at all as far as I know. I'm still waiting for a CMF 0.9 update, until then it's a pretty useless software in my oppinion as it can't be used to actually press the discs you manage to author. I'm thinking Roxio, having the relationship with Sonic they do, want pro people to go buy Scenarist instead, and maybe that's why this software isn't working as it should.

just wondering what's wrong with Encore CS3 that made you move on to Nero?

Also, does Nero give you as much control with the menu as DVDIt!? I never used Nero but I always thought it gives the kind of control that Roxio's Easy Media Creator does.

On the Nero website it shows that it doesn't currently support HDMV output...... I have NEro 8 & HD plugin but haven't bothered authoring HD with it.

It does HDMV output, something that's been working without issues since I got it, which is more than can be said for Roxio!
can't believe it's not been updated!

I've only had it less than a week, is there an 8.2 download somewhere?

What about the BD-R 2.o thing? Have you got BD-R 2.0 discs or BD-RE 3.0 discs? Do they output to BD-R 1.0 BDRE2.0?

Doesn't matter really, I got 2 other programs so I wont be using Nero.
