On your way to your parents drop in a Electronics store and ask them to try your DVD in one of their players(make sure its not a Sony).
If it plays in your PC, the Roxio program has done its job.
Let us know how you make out.

I hate to seem completely stupid, but I went to EMC 9 Tools, and there is no "DVD Info Pro." The DVD Info. I can find won't let me post to clipboard. Any other way to get you the useful information? Am I missing this DVD Info Pro because I did the update to 9.1?
Here's what I can tell you: I created the DVD using MyDVD in EMC 9; burned to .iso, then used Disc Copier to burn to DVD-R (Verbatim). Total playtime on the disc is about 1 hr. 15 minutes, there are 8 movies & I set up 2 sub-menus. In the Sony player, it will play my "intro" movie, and sometimes can open the main menu, but after I play 1 movie, it chokes trying to return to main menu (I get a 00 13 error "disc is dirty").

Do you have DVDIfo Pro or not in the program?
I own Sony DVD Players and have no problem playing any disc that a disc quality tool says is fine!

I can't find "DVDInfo Pro" anywhere in EMC 9 Tools. I did find a "Disc Information" section, but it only lists about 1/2 the information you had on your list, and I couldn't find any way to get it onto the clipboard (clicking did nothing, & I couldn't block it either).
Anyway, I think I found the problem, since I just did a new disc & it worked fine at first for all the movies, then came up with a "Disc is Dirty" error. I think my DVD player needs cleaning, it's not a Roxio problem... will let you know if the cleaning works.

OK, I cleaned the player & now it seems to be working (ran my old burns without too much trouble). So most of the problem appears to be my stupidity.
I do have an additional question, though: under Roxio Tools, Options, Data, there's an option for "Write-Once DVD Compatibility" to adjust either to "close" the disc or leave it open for further burning. Does this option have any effect on DVD-R or is it only for other media?
Thanks much!

Also, just as a note, you will not find DVD Info Pro under the Tools section on the left side in the Home app. You either have to go the the Home are on the left, then select Applications and it should be listed on the right under utilities. Or, go to Start -> Programs -> Roxio 9 -> Tools and it should be listed there.

Interesting... I just tried both directions you suggested & still don't have DVD Info Pro (not listed under utilities on the right side, not in "Tools" under Roxio 9). I've noticed that my install looked completely different on my computer & my husband's computer--does it have different things based on whether I'm using Vista or not? my husband's computer does not have Vista, mine does. I haven't checked his to see if he has DVD Info Pro. Seems like this is probably something I should have, but I'm not sure how to get it other than a complete reinstall?

If you do a search for DVDINFO*.EXE, that's the executable file. When you find it, make a desktop shortcut to it and you should be able to run it from there.
Alternatively you can get a free (ad-supported) version of DVDInfoPro from Nic's site at http://www.dvdinfopro.com/
That should save you having to do a complete reinstall.
