I cannot play Cineplayer anymore after I installed Turbotax 2007. I get an error - "Cannot initailize video stream". My version of Cineplayer is bundled in MyDVD deluxe version 6. It used to work fine before (as of one week ago) but after I installed Turbotax 2007 I get the error message. I checked out the help forums, but I can't find out what happened/changed. I checked the monitor settings, color (16 bit), uninstalled and reinstalled Turbotax 2007,  disable hardware acceleration, removed and reinstalled Sonic/Roxio, removed and reinstalled both mediaplayer and IE (I tried it with IE 6 and 7), did "Remove program files>repair", deleted and reinstalled DLA.  Whew!

I have considered upgrading but I am not convinced this will solve the problem. 1) It was working fine before but it may have the same problem afterwards 2) I'm running an antiquated Dell laptop 5150 optiplex with XP professional and I'm betting my hardware won't be able to handle the new software requirements.

I'm thinking I missed something simple.

Any help?
