My computer is a Dell Dimension E510 running IE 6.0 and WMP 10 (but I just rolled these back when I started troubleshooting my sonic issues.)  My OS is Windows XP Media Center Edition V2002 SP2.  The drive that I burn on is HL-DT-ST GWA4164B.  I have tried to check what works and what doesn't work as related to this drive.  It reads and plays audio and data CD's and also plays DVD's.  I was able to burn a slideshow on DVD with Microsoft Movie Maker last week, but have had difficulties trying this out with sonic, because sometimes the drive freezes up and maintains a solid green light and will not eject the DVD or CD.  I have not been able to burn data or audio on CD with sonic.  Am I having a drive problem or is it a sonic problem?
