Hello,
I recently installed Roxio 10. I am trying to copy a DVD disc of a slideshow of my wedding photos created by a family member. I copied the file to my hard drive (I only have 1 DVD drive). Then I edited the file to have a Wedding appropriate style. On the bottom of the screen it shows a graph with Used: 2648.9 MB Free: 2051.1 MB Time Remaining 00:29:08. Quality is set to Fit to Disc. When I click on Burn, I get a burn project window. I leave everything alone and click burn. Then I get an error of "The estimated size is larger than the disc capacity. If you continue, content may be truncated. Are you sure?. (ok or cancel) I click okay...although it should be okay anyhow. Then Burn Project window comes up with a black square and current task progress meter with a message that says "The project size exceeds the media capacity." with an ok button. What can I do to make it burn a disc?

Try setting the quality to HQ and the disc size set to 4.7gb

Uncheck the Fit to Disc and burn at highest quality.  Then, when you click the burn button, uncheck the Burn to Disc box and check the 'Save Image File' box.  Browse to where you want to save your ISO and click burn.  When complete, open Video Copy & Convert and on the Source side, click the down arrow for Browse for Disc Image/Video Folder/ and go to where you saved your image file.  Put your dvd in the drive and in the destination side, wait for the blank disc to be accepted, then click burn.  It should copy to the dvd and self shrink the file to fit at best quality possible.

Well using an image file worked the first time. But, now I am getting a CRC or ECC error - Hardware error. (Insert Disc). I am using an DVD+R. I am not sure what this error means. I tried to put in a DVD-R and I get a Medium not present - Unit not ready. (Insert Disc) error. Please advise.
Thanks!

It was the write speeds that made me say it, 22.6X  laugh.gif

The layers and layer break are even better, for DVD -R media!
