Okay - thanks to you guys who have answered my appeals for help, I now have the makings of a slide show complete with music. I would like your thoughts on the type of discs to use to burn the DVD. I've already discovered that for a good burn, I need a high quality disc, but I don't know what type is best. Any thoughts? Ella

It's more the quality as type +/- R. I use Taiyo Yuden (Premium Line) from here.

As cd pointed out---Taiyo Yuden is one of the top media brands in DVD+/-. Others that are very good are "Verbatim" and "TDK" brands. One that is constantly being shown as inferior by many users including myself is "Memorex" so I would definitely stay away from that brand.
