Hi, how can I know the size of the project before burning a BDR ?

When I click "File > Project Settings ..." it only gives me the "Size on DVD" but not the size on a BDR if I want to burn a BD-Video !

What some people do ...

Select "Burn to Volume" which writes everything to the hard drive.
Then just check the size of the directory.

Later, you can "Burn to Disc" from the volume.

It takes more than 6 hours to "burn to volume" :-\

I am sure there is a work around because when I choose "Burn to disc" from DvdItProHD and that the project size is bigger than the BDR (25GO), I get immediately a warning message.

Unless it is "Too large", it is really not a waste of time ... the program has to do all of the above to "burn to disc".
On a few BDMV blu-ray disc, the program said I didn't have enought space, but when I made the volume first,
I ending up with the exact space required and it did fit on the blu-ray disc.

Sounds like DVDit is re-encoding some of your files... Check the encoding settings on the MPEG2 compliant sticky in this forum.

The estimator is not always accurate, I had a project it said was gonna be about 20gb but it ended up 16gb so that's why burn to "volume" so you can get the true size.
