I have photos on computer that I want to save to disk, erase them from the computer and at a later time access them from disk. I am Windows xp burning to a cd. I used back on track to create a data disk and pictures would not open. Help what am i doing wrong. Thanks

You should be able to go to Creator Classic and create a Data disc.
This will put your pics on a disc that can be read anywhere.
If you want to put some on and then add more at a later time you can also do this.Just make sure that the box that says "Read Only disc" is unchecked when you get the burn screen.If you do this then you won't be able to view the disc anywhere until the last session is closed.If you do do this you might want to read the help files on Appendable discs.Or you can just put the pics on and make sure that box is checked and you'll be able to view the pics off that disc on any computer and possibly some stand alone DVD players.

Thanks digital guru. Everything working now. do you know if i can change a picture from .mpeg to .jpg using emc10.

mpegs are videos and you can extract a frame from the video and save it s a picture in jpg format. The quality will not be very goog though.
Launch Videowave, and add the mpeg movie from which you want to extract a picture. Once add, navigate to the frame you want and then click on the little camera icon on the control bar below the preview window
