Since installing EMC9 I cannot read UDF disks without the PC restarting. I am using XP Pro SP2. I had no problems before. The first time I tried to read a UDF it gave a dialogue box requesting I install Roxio UDF reader. I accepted this and since then the PC restarts when I try to read UDF disks. Does anyone have any ideas?

Uninstall the Reader, it is not compatible with XP!!!

If it asks to install the reader, then 99.999% of the time the disc has failed and you will not be able to recover anything.

You can try a couple of 3rd party recovery programs like IsoBuster or CDRoller.
