mad.gif ive downloaded 3 movies from online and i can see them in the "add new title"  but i cant do nothing w/ them! one has an hour glass and the other two have a red circle w/ line through it. if i click on hour glass it freezes up and dosent rspond and closes. the other two dont do nothing! i did a free trial w/ nero, and i could at least watch them. please can anyone HELP!!! percy

Depending on where you got these movies, the problem is either that they are copy protected or you don't have the correct codec installed on your system. Most likely it's a codec issue. However, you don't mention the exact version of EMC9 you have and if you have the OEM Basic version, and your file is a divx or xvid file, then your version does not support divx and you'll have to upgrade to a version that does.
Please post back with your version of EMC9.

i have emc9 .0 de, it came installed with my dell i got nov. 07. the movies have ts.xvid?

You have an OEM version and it will not do what you want  (which may be illegal anyway if its commercial movie from a Torrent site)

Most likely if the program is an OEM version, it has many of the 'extras' left out.  Divx support is usually one of them. You're better off spending the money and getting the full version unless all you're going to use it for is to burn downloaded movies.

rolleyes.gif can someone let me know where i can buy an upgrade so i can watch torrent movies like nero 8? thank you very much!
