Here is a suggestion for the Roxio software engineers.  It would be very nice to
be able to view videos on the Tivo that were previously downloaded from the Tivo to a Mac
with Roxio Tivo Transfer.

I understand that something like that was an "unsupported" feature of Tivo Desktop on the Macs (holding
down the apple key while starting it), but this feature apparently does not work anymore
after a recent Tivo software update.

The main application for me would be to store movies long-term on off storage
disks, and then to play them back on the Tivo when needed.
