Dvc 90

I always capture from my VCR with dvc 90 and it always worked in my Xp .I bought a new computer with VISTA ULTIMATE and now that I want to capture  I press "capture now " and it captures just up to 8 sec and stops a screen appears and says and unkown error occured, anyone any idea what's going one or if it has happened to you

Have you tried updating the drivers for the DVC90 to be Vista ones?

When you try and capture are you getting sound in the preview?If not this could be the cause.The only way to fix it is go to Sound in the Vista control panel and hope you have an input that works.If you have a built-in sound chip I have my doubts as to if it will.
