Thanks to everyone on this forum I have solved my problems, but each solution leads to another problem.  I want to use Videowave....someplace on this forum I saw a list of tips (disconnecting virus etc.) to help with the speed of emc3.  I can't find it.  I think it was from digital guru.  Thanks again.  This site is awesome for a newbie like me!!

Have you looked through the Tips & Tricks sections in the EMC 10 amd EMC 9 forums? There is a lot of information there. Tips in many cases can be used in both versions.
