Just downloaded  CinePlayer 3.4 and when I go to open a .mov file it tells me ;

"One or more codecs required to play this file are not installed. Install the proper codecs to play the file."

There is a 'OK' button which is slightly misleading as it could mean that "OK Roxio will now install the codecs" or "OK you now have to go and install them".

If I have to get them where do I get them from, and why are they not already there?

The free utility below will tell you the codec you need to play the file. A Google search will find the codec or codec pk, be careful some cause more problems than they are worth! Always scan the codec download with a good anti virus software scan.

Download GSpot v2.70a (402 KB)
